Random Pictures

Since I just started blogging in January and am not too good
about posting, I thought I would add more pictures from the past.

WCA Nationals 2010

After work on May 14th, Wanda and I along with Storm,
Streak, Fling and Blaze headed to
Weimarner Nationals in Gettysburg.

Blaze and Stephan in the Veterans Class.

Streak and Wanda's Utility A debut was great!
Unfortunately he did not Q either day.
The only exercise he missed was his articles.
The week started off good with Streak passing
his Shooting Dog Test.
Later in the week, Blaze finished his
Open Fast title with 2nd place.
Streak got an Excellent B Fast leg.

Fling and Storm

A week after the flood, we went to Decatur for agility.
When we were finished on Saturday, we took the
young ones to play.

Tuesday May 4th

I took a drive to the school I went to.
This is not the first time
Donelson Christian Academy has flooded.
I was unable to get pictures of the actual school buildings
but below are the playground and baseball field.

The water is receding!!!!

Chillin at the Baymont Inn

Due to the storms and flooding, we lost electricity.
My next door neighbor told me that the Baymont Inn
was offering low rates for flood victims.
We checked in and stayed four nights.

Blaze all snuggled up.
Fling checking her email.

Loving the comfy white beadspreads!

Historic Flooding

Well, it has been a crazy month.
As you all know, it started raining on May 1st
and it didn't stop for over 36 hours.
Nashville had 13+ inchs of rain.
Here are some pictures of my view.

The house at the end of my street taken
on May 2nd around 5:00 pm...
LONG before the rivers crested.
Another house in the neighborhood.

The dog's tunnel. My fence is 4 feet.

Taken just as I was evacuating.
When I woke up at about 6 am, there was no water in sight.
This was taken around noon.
